Spring Cleaning Guide

Now that the weather is finally looking up and the forecast is predicting a break from all the rain, we know lots of you still need to do your spring cleaning. The Okanagan has been filled with water this month, including lots of people’s basements. Everyone has been pushing off their spring cleaning, because it doesn’t quite feel like spring yet. But the weather is looking up, and we all know what that means.

 
For everyone, cleaning is not the most fun thing to do, but making your house look brighter and fresher is exactly what we are here to help you with!

Living Room:

Give your living room a good dust, open up the windows and let some fresh air in. Change up the color tones of the room by adding some vibrant throw pillows or some fresh cut flowers.

Kitchen:

Clean out the fridge and pantry from any old or expired food and further wipe down every surface. Go through drawers and cupboards to clear clutter and organize your dishes.

Bathroom:

Clean the sinks, toilets, and tiled floors then scrub the shower and bath tub. Hang up some fresh colorful hand towels and add a fresh smelling soap in your dispenser.

Bedrooms:

It’s time to strip your bed of its big, bulky duvet cover and replace it with some cotton sheets. Clean out your closet of winter clothes and make room for your spring and summer options. Go through any drawers and throw away any junk or clutter.

Other:

It is also a good feeling to get your floors cleaned, whether you hire a professional carpet cleaner or do it yourself, your home will feel a lot cleaner! Next, consider hiring another professional to get those tricky to reach windows cleaned.
