Healthy Halloween Party Treats

Halloween is right around the corner and we bet that your children are so excited to dress up as their favorite characters. However, with Halloween and trick-or-treating comes candy, lots of candy. As you are beginning to get ready and prep for your annual Halloween party, we want you to keep in mind that fun snacks can be healthy too!

Check out these healthy Halloween treats that will keep your guest feeling good and your children away from jumping off the walls.

Strawberry Ghosts:

Chocolate covered strawberries aren’t just for Valentine’s Day! Dip your Strawberries in with chocolate and turn them upside down. Add mini chocolate chips to make eyes.

Carrot Fingers:

Have your little goblins help you peel carrots into a long finger shape, and then add a dab of cream cheese on the tip to attach a slivered almond that will resemble a fingernail.

Mummy Hot Dogs:

Cut crescent roll dough into thin strips and wrap around hot dog wieners. Cook the mummies for 15 mins at 350 or until golden brown. Make sure to leave a little bit of room for the “mummies” faces that the kids can design with mustard and ketchup.

Jack-O-Lantern Fruit Cups:

Add some color and fun to your Halloween party with mini Jack-O-Lantern oranges. Slice the top off your navel orange and scoop out the inside. Use a knife to carefully carve a face into the front of the orange and finish by filling the cup with mixed berries or grapes.

Snake Dip:

This one is super easy! Buy or make a bowl of hummus and create a snake out of black olives. Place the olives on top of the hummus and add a carrot tongue.
